So… what Is It?

Reframing perception means actively choosing how you interpret situations. It's about pausing before reacting and considering alternative views. This isn't ignoring problems but seeing them from angles that empower you. Neuroscience calls this cognitive reappraisal, and it can reduce stress and boost well-being.

Aka it helps you not have unnecessary suffering, which doesn’t sound too bad does it?

Every day, you face situations that trigger automatic reactions. Easy examples include: anger in traffic, fear of missing out, stress at work, misunderstandings, & personal setbacks.

By shifting your perspective, you can change how these moments affect you. Instead of feeling stuck, you might see challenges as chances to grow. To be clear, this is NOT about pretending everything's perfect; it's about finding a viewpoint that helps rather than hinders.

I still do every now and then to be honest, but at least now i’ve been trying to think of it as learning lessons. Each of us with our own paths and mistakes we need to make to get to where we need to be (obviously within reason).
